THE HEART OF OUR NATION
Tzarina Saniel is a teacher who believes that old books will help the Filipinos connect to their past and become better Filipinos in the process. She loves Philippine history and spreads her joy to her students. She is also a recipient of the Pitong Pilipino award of Yahoo Philippines.
At the age where technology has developed greatly, she believes in the power of old books in manuscripts she collected. She believes that these can change the lives of her students.
She believes we should teach our own history before teaching the history of other countries. She says learning our history is a way to show our love and gratitude to our country. She believes education should help people aspire, not despair.
Tzarina Saniel is a modern day hero because she strives to keep the history of our country alive. She collects old books so that it may be preserved and we may learn from it.
She also teaches students about our past, so that they can move on tomorrow. She encourages them to study our history so that we may develop and continue to grow. She is a modern day hero because her passion for Filipino history has helped change the lives of others.
